Becton tried to get up, but Casebolt pinned her to the ground holding her down with both knees. She was eventually released to her family, who weren't happy with how the teen was treated.
"It wasn't right, I think his force was excessive," said Becton's aunt.
The teen hopes to see action from McKinney police officials.
The 15-year-old Texas teenager who shot the McKinney pool party video that went viral and has resulted in a Texas officer being placed on leave is now speaking out. Brandon Brooks, 15, told KDAF the entire situation was, “uncalled for.”
The video, which was uploaded to YouTube, captures a chaotic scene in a suburban community about 40 miles north of Dallas that grows increasingly tense when the officer — identified as Cpl. Eric Casebolt — attempts to throw a teenager onto a sidewalk before using his body weight to push her head toward the concrete. He is also seen pulling her hair.
When several teenagers move toward Casebolt, he lets the teenager go and takes several steps toward them. As they begin to back up and then turn to flee, he pulls out his gun and approaches menacingly before two other officers appear to intervene. Casebolt, a 10-year-veteran of the police department, also serves as a vice president of McKinney’s police union, according to the group’s Facebook page. He received an award for “Patrolman of the Year” in 2008, according to the McKinney Courier-Gazette.

Residents called to complain about several teens who didn't have permission to use the community pool and refused to leave. The cell phone video doesn't show the moment that sparked the incident.
